US Nintendo Account
You will need to create a U.S. Nintendo account in order to redeem your card. Nintendo eShop cards are compatible only for the Nintendo eShop country or region where they were intended to be sold. Therefore, a US Nintendo e shop account is required to be able to redeem your card.
How to redeem your Nintendo Gift Card?
Once you have a U.S. Nintendo account, you can follow these steps to redeem your Nintendo card. Once you have redeemed your card you can get access to the hottest new Nintendo full game downloads, apps, movies, TV shows, devices, and more.
- Using a browser, visit ec.nintendo.com/redeem/#/
- Select Sign in and enter your Nintendo Account e-mail address and password, and then select Sign in again. Make sure you are signed in to the correct US Nintendo Account by reviewing the name in the top right hand corner.
- Enter your 16-digit download code and then select, Next.
- Re-enter your Nintendo Account password when prompted, then select Redeem to complete the process.
